Mirena for heavy bleeding
I am 39. I am having heavy bleeding for first 2 days of periods which made me anemic and also suffer 3-4 days after periods with pain in thighs and sometimes frequent urination along with pressure down in vagina. My quality of life has deteriorated. Doctor adviced for mirena iud insertion. But I have read and heard so many horror stories about perforation and hormonal iud side effects. Is it safe? Should I go for the insertion?
