My dermatologist recomended me ketoconazole shampoo Candid-K every alternate day with minoxidil 5% for treating hairloss even though i dont have dandruff at all

Ketoconazole apart from antifungal effect, also have antiandrogenetic property. It's available in combination with minoxidil in some preparations for treating male pattern baldness.some prefer to prescribe it in shampoo form.
