Minor throat discomfort and RT PCR test
Hi,I have a travel to work upcoming and need to go out of India, as a formality I need to get the RTPCR done tomorrow, but I have a minor throat discomfort and hence worried will it have any impact on the rtpcr testing. Kindly note I have no other symptoms of cold or cough or temperature or fatigue and also I have been vaccinated with both doses of covishield. Should I be worried that throat infection will have any bearing on the rtpcr?

Yes , there are very high chances that you will test positive for covid, I have seen many patients in my clinical practice , who have taken both doses of covid vaccine but still get covid infection.
