Our 3 month old pup bite-scratched my 9 y/o son, while they were playing, the pup hasn't gotten anti rabies yet. the wound is superficial, although it bled a little when we applied pressure to it, we washed it with soap and water, put povidone-iodine after, then antibacterial ointment. do we need to get anti rabies shots and if so, how soon? is 12 hour period safe?. thanks
