If it is degeneration which is very uncommon in L2 area at your age group curtail your heavy activities like weights,gym and athletic activities. No it is not reversible but you can be made comfortable from delaying the degeneration process by modifying your lifestyle activities, physiotherapy and doing some yoga as long as it does not involve putting strain on your back. Attend yoga classes and inform your yoga teacher about your back and he will modify the asanas
