I have seen one case recently, where a patient is sick. But all his reports are normal. He is not getting better. Does this indicate anything or is it the mindset of the patient that he won't get better, that's why he is not getting better?

Sometimes one feel that we have investigated a patient who is sick completely but it may so happen that there could be some other reasons for sickness so unless a patient is seen physically it is very difficult, as a doctor, to give an opinion regarding whatever test which have been conducted are correct or not or whether we have missed essential tests in this case also one has to see regarding the psychological aspects of sickness as sickness of mind is also a major cause which is falling in the main practice area of all psychiatrist so it is also a possibility that patient may be suffering from a psychiatric disorder
