Milia is not very deep into the skin,so it takes 3-4 days for recovery after removal.Usually milia doesn't go with creams and removal by qualified person is the best treatment.Milia is formed by accumulation of oil /dead cells into your skin and the material accumulated inside is relatively hard to come out on its own or with creams. We need to remove the skin covering milia and then extract all the contents with the help of an instrument and as skin damage is not much ,there is no chance of scarring or pigmentation after removal.Regards, Dr. Jeetendra Khatuja.
