Mild swelling on left side of new born
I recently delivered a baby boy on 19th april, since discharge from hospital he has mild swelling on left side of his brain. Doctors told it will resolve by its own. There is no pain to child if we touch it. It is kind of soft spot. When it will go away? Any home treatment we can consider?

Hi mam! It depends on what type of swelling it is. Skull swelling like cepahlhematoma can take 4-6 weeks to subside on its own. No treatment is needed. Only jaundice needs to be monitored. If it's a "BRAIN swelling", it requires MRI brain to monitor regression of swelling.
