Mild mitral stenosis
Last week my mother had 2d echo test. In reports it shows that she has mild mitral stenosis with trace M. R. and mild T R. The mva is 3 cm2 by plainimetry. Mitral peak gradient is 3.8 mm/hg Lvef is 70% All chambers are normal in size and mitral valve is slightly thickened.

Mva 3cm is as good as normal..nothing to be done..echo to be done 5 yearly.
