My son age 5 years Weight 15 kg Having mild fever from yesterday Using p 250 4 ml every 6 hours. Is it ok or should I consult pediatrician Bcz it is rainy season know. And my kid playful and eating well..

Greetings , most probably it can a viral infection so hydrate the child well ,. Give Paracetamol every 6 th hourly if temperature is not getting reduced by day 2 pleas consult me I will guide u.

If your child is active between febrile episodes with no other danger signs like fast breathing, difficulty in breathing,rash,loose stools,vomiting and convulsions then you can wait for 3 days.You can continue paracetamol. Don't give paracetamol more than 4 times in a day.Give more liquids to prevent dehydration
