A Midline prostatic utricle cyst was detected during Ultrasound procedure of my routine annual
health checkup in mid August 2019.
(Report) " REAL TIME PELVIS ULTRASOUND REPORT
Anatomically normal urinary bladder.
Prostate measures 2.9 x 2.8 x 3.1 cm corresponding to 13 gms with evidence of 6 x 6 mm sized utricle cyst in the midline.
No evidence of ascites.
Gall Bladder is partially distended.
CONCLUSION :
Grade II/III fatty infiltration of
liver. Suggested serum
LFT correlation. Midline prostatic utricle cyst."
Is this cyst dangerous? What is the treatment for it? I do not have any major symptoms except slight discomfort in the area sometimes when I am lying.
