Prostate Cyst
I had a pain while lying on right and left side while sleeping and having gastric & digestion problem. I lost around 6kgs from past 7 months without trying. I have fatty liver grade 1 & prostate cyst having 10mm through abdominal scan and I took PSA blood report. Total PSA ratio is 0.47 - it's above the normal value 0.11. and free PSA with free PSA ratio is 0.43 it's above the normal value of 0.40. Doctor done digital rectum examination & I don't have any symptoms related to prostate. Doctor said not to worry about PSA and referred to gastroenterologist. I have been diagnosed Las Lex with Esophagitis and proctitis for eval through endoscopy and semicolonscopy. Currently I am under medication for gastric and digestion problem.
I am really worry about my PSA blood report. Am I get cancer? Need an expert opinion for this.

Hi, sir there is confusion with reading of ur report as, the reports are normal as u have psa less then 4 , which is normal limit, above it is an issue.
So pls don't worry above prostrate and just conc on ur other issues.

Hello,
As per American society of clinical oncology guidelines, if the PSA is marginally high and rectal examination doesn't reveal anything significant, we have to keep the patient under observation. Which means the patient needs to under go routine PSA and digital rectal examination. However we cannot ignore the significant weight loss which needs further evaluation.
