Yes Sir, in any surgery there are some pros & cons.
As in pinna reconstruction, there are chances of bleeding, post of infection,may need revision surgery or in some cases facial asymmetry & decreased hearing as well.

There might be disfigurement of pinna again ( recurrence) and since cartilage is used for reconstruction there can be cartilage infection or pneumothorax theoretically…
