Hi, I had a spine surgery done exactly a week ago and I still feel tingling sensation and a slight pain in the right side of my lower back. Is this normal? Regards, Monika

Usually these symptoms settle down after surgery.some times it may take longer. Why not discuss with the surgeon who operated on you.?

It’s perfectly normal to have such sensations after surgical intervention. They wean off in few days as swelling around the nerve settles.

Yes, tingling and numbness take some time to wean off. If radiating leg pain is reduced, then surgery is done efficiently.
