I had a caesarean 3 yrs bk, this month my period was delayed for 7 days,i did a pregnancy test, which was negative. and i got my period on 9th day after the expected date, this nvr happened before. i used to get my period 4 to 5 days prior to expected date always. this month it got delayed and color of flow was black on 1st and 4 days , red on 2 and 3 days. i am concerned with this issue. is it a possible pregnancy,? or a hormonal imbalance or thyroid dysfunction? i am unclear regarding my problem as my menstrual flow has been scanty since many months. what are the nxt steps to b taken to solve this problem?

Do a urine pregnancy test first..if negative do a TSH , and ultrasound pelvis..
