Above details are quite brief to conclude but it seems you feel very lonely at night resulting into unhappiness and crying spells. Since it is there for few years it has deep roots in your own life. It would be a good idea to talk to someone whom you find matured and warm enough to identify the causal factors.
You can also write diary every evening and share your feelings openly. Try to do something pleasant / interesting or relaxing before sleeping that may also divert your attention and encourage feel good factor.
