Mental growth
My younger son aged 11 yrs is very much weak in his studies. He is in 5th standard now and he is unable to read and write properly. His teachers always make complaints for his studies while we met them at monthly PTM. He is very active in other activities as well as play outside waching TV or activities other then books. Teachers suggest to consult physclogist or doctor for his mental growth to activate in his studies. Kindly guide us to whom we have to consult.

Please consult a special educator to understand whether he has problems in studying and writing. They would diagnise the mental ability and the mental age. Although they would be very good at other activities. It will definetley help you to understand your childs strength and weakness. Take care.
