Menstrual cycle
Hi, Have been having a problem of irregular menstrual cycle from quite some time. However since July, am having periods for almost 20-22 day's every month. The process starts with spotting for a week, followed by clotting for a week and then normal to heavy menstrual flow for 7-10 day's.
Being 33 and trying to conceive this problem is creating a lot of issues as at times I bleed during intercourse as well.
Please let me know the probable cause of the problem.

Generally the common reason is hormonal imbalance but can be confirmed only after clinical examination and investigation
