Sir I have a grade 2 lateral and medial meniscus degeneration do I need surgery. What type of surgery would be needed and what is the recovery time. Could I able to run or play games as before. Plz brief me can I do surgery after 1 month I have injury last month. And I have done mri 3 days ago

You need Arthroscopy for your knee. Recovery time depends on the amount of damage to your meniscus. Usually no bed rest is required. You are allowed to walk as per your pain tolerance. You should go for surgery as early as possible for you.
Most patients can do running and sports after Arthroscopy. However it depends on how bad your meniscus tear was.
Health Tips
Use a knee cap till you go for surgery. It helps to prevent further damage.
