Meningococcal vaccination
My son aged 2.4 yrs has been vaccinated as per the vaccination chart.However my Ped suggested Meningococcal vaccine and Japanese encephalitis. If so is it really recommended.Also I would be very grateful if an approx price of the vaccine can be know with the dosage. Much Obliged.

Hi..., Children at higher risk for meningococcal disease (children with no spleen or who have certain medical conditions) must and should receive meningococcal vaccine..... Meningococcal vaccines are very safe and effective..... Japanese encephalitis vaccine is approved for people 2 months of age and older....And it is 90% effective in preventing Japanese encephalitis...
