Meningitis
Hi can a 3 month baby get meningitis, if yes what are the symptoms, high grade fever last for how long? Do medications work?And paediatrician just by looking physically say it that he might have it or not?

Yes, a Pediatrician is good enough in assessing a kid clinically to say whether a baby is having meningitis or not.

Yes definitely we cam suspect from the symptoms and activity of the baby. For definite diagnosis, tests are required most importantly lumbar puncture

Yes any age can get it. And some might not have any symptoms other than fever. Fever may or may not be present in small infants. Excessive irritability or lethargy, abnormal body movement, refusal to feed, vacant stare etc.
