Memory loss nd body pain

Asked for Female, 51 Years

My mother is dealing with insomnia and depression for past 7 years she is also taking medicine called valium 10mg for sleeping but now she is lossing some memory ...cant remember small thing like name ...which day...keep forgeting small thing ...nd have severe body pain in the morning after wake up . What should i do ? Please advise some medication how to deal with memory loss nd body pain...

Hello, Valium won't help in depression. It is helpful in insomnia. Even valium can cause forgetfulness. Get her thyroid level checked. This symptoms can be due to thyroid abnormalities. Consult a mental health professional and take treatment for depression. Once depression symptoms improves her sleep and pain symptoms will improve as well.
