Hello A. As I mentioned earlier.. Warm compresses followed by lid massage should be done daily... Lid scrubbing with baby shampoo can be done once weekly B. Once the meibomitis is treated then you can stop warm compresses  but lid massage can be done through out life to prevent Recurrence... It is just a way to keep lids clean like we brush to keep teeth clean C. I am sorry but there is no permanent treatment for dryness. There are two types of dry eyes... Most common being evaporative dry eyes... There are many causes for evaporative dry eye... Meibomitis is just one factor... With this We will be able to control one major factor We will need to exercise other precautions and medicines will also be required
