My mom prescribed with medrol 8mg Bd for 5 days and anti coagulant (5 days 0.6 lmwh sc) for high ddimer >3000.. During asymptomatic covid phase.
In retest after 5 days. D dimer reduced to <100..
Is this medrol8 mg bd for 5 days is strong steroid?
Will there be problem of mucormycosis? She is not diabetic..
Any precautions to take?
