I'm under medication and the two medicines im taking are paroxee 25 cr and clonazepam 0.25 mg. I had a question about the side effects of the medicine. I'm a student preparing for my entrance and i don't want the medication to cause hindrance in my preparation. Can you please tell me if these medicines have a side effect like drowsiness or headache or anything else and will it cause any hindrance in my studying? If yes, what should I do to tackle that

Antidepressants zlike paroxetine correct the Neuro chemical imbalance seen in the brain of someone suffering from mood disorders or OCD. Therefore correction of symptoms requires a certain dose. Stopping medications suddenly without consulting your treating doctor could result in withdrawal symptoms like tremors, sweating nausea etc which are usually dose related.
These (antidepressants) are NON- addictive withdrawals which are different to the way our body might be used to alcohol or medications like clonazepam. As you have only been taking a small dose of clonazepam for only 2 weeks that risk is very low. You may however revert back to being unable to sleep.

Hi, both medicines are very safe and can be continued. However, paroxetine do have mild sedative action and some patients may experience drowsiness or heaviness of head when medication is taken in the morning hours. In case you experience any drowsiness you can consider taking it in the evening along with clonazepam or else continue as advised by your doctor. Hope this helps. All the best for your exams!
Hi..
You can also depend upon natural methods like breathing and physical exercises, diet and relaxation techniques along with the medication.
Slowly you can stop the medication and completely depend on natural way of healing.
Take care
