My 3 Yo weighing 13 Kgs has dental cavities and needs to have a doctor visit. Meanwhile, What medicine can be kept at home in advance.. if he poses dental pain suddenly in the night.

Good M'ning.... The best will be Ibugesic plus suspension which can be given 5ml, two to three times a day, depending on the symptoms, either with a dropper or the cap that comes along with it.

Hello Sir You definitely have to take your little one to the dental surgeon and get the cavities filled because the milk teeth act as space maintainers and they have to be retained till the time the permanent teeth donot erupt. The permanent teeth start erupting by the age of 6 to 6.5 years. Secondly if you want to keep any pain killer at home so a mild pain killer syrup such as Ibugesic Plus can be kept which you can give to your child if he/she has any pain in the tooth in future
