MEDICINE EFFECTS
Sir,
I have been on anti depressant medicines since the last one & half year. Doctor prescribed me one new med Tofisopam 50 mg (twice
daily) with old med Fluoxetine 20mg. When I take 2nd dose of Tofisopam on the first day, I felt very drowsiness and tremors (drowsiness occurs within 2 hours & tremors after 5-6hrs of dose). So will I discontinue this medicine or reduce the dose to once a day.
Kindly advise.

Mostly a single dose of TOFISOPAM will be enough, but if second dose is required then you may give an interval of one week to 2 weeks and then increase the dose

Take single dose for first week... Then increase to two doses daily.
