What brand of calcium syrup is it?
Children can be given 1 ml of Vitamin D 400IU syrup only and they'll be fine. This is actually highly recommended and should be followed by every parent.
There is plenty of calcium in mother's milk and the vitamin d supplement will help in absorbing it from the baby's gut.

In a term delivered baby, there is no need of calcium supplement. Only vitamin d 3 is required. Give arbivit forte drops 0.5 ml once a day for 6 months and then 1 ml once a day from 6 months to 1 year.
