I was having trapezius muscle pain. Took a vitamin D test as suggested by orthopaedic. Turns out I have 10ng/ml. What is the recommended dose and for how long?

Vitamin D3 injections, adequate sun exposure daily is required. Drink one glass milk daily.

Best things is to go for vitamin d injection. If you don't want it then go for capsules. Take consultation so that I can talk to you and guide you better and advice you medication for this problem.
