Medication and Pregnancy
I am pregnant and will be 35 weeks Wednesday. I have been taking Oxycodone for pain for about 3 months (started in my second trimester.) The last month, I have taken no more than 30 mg a day and most days I take 7 mg to 15 mg MAX and most days 7 mg total as I am trying to stop altogether. I want to stop completely so the baby does not suffer withdrawal when he is born. Can you help with a quit plan? Can I quit cold turkey since most days I take so little?

Oxycodone .not safe during pregnancy or baby.3 months of time suggest significant exposure. But as you near due date you need to consult  physician ,  psychologist for yourself and neonatologist as soon as possible.Dont waste time on thinking or asking online.Consult immediately.
