Medial Meniscus Tear
There is horizontal tear in posterior horn of MEDIAL MENISCUS. Do she need to undergo surgery ? Or it can be cured by any medication or physiotherapy?

Meniscus has two zones : red and white. Red zone tears can be repaired, and white zone removed. But symptomatic significant tears of the meniscus need surgery by arthroscopy. It is a minimally invasive procedure done fairly commonly nowadays and excellent outcomes. Minor partial thickness tears usually do well with physiotherapy and knee exercises
