Menstrual periods that are abnormally frequent (polymenorrhea) can be caused by certain sexually transmitted diseases STDs such as Chlamydia or gonorrhea that cause inflammation in the uterus. This condition is calledpelvic inflammatory disease...consult gynaecologist, per vaginal examination is required...
