Massive lesion 6.5×5×5 cm in mediastinam
Hello doctor My father has siatica prob and suggested for spine endoscopy ..for the surgery purpose we went through all the tests and in chest ct scan they noticed irregular massive lesion measuring 6.5× 5.7×5.2cm in mediastinam aorto pulmonary window ..He is 61 years old and had cardiac stent ..please help us sir whether it is cancerous or any chances it won't be

A large mediastinal mass can be malignant in nature. Need to have a complete evaluation with all relevant reports in details

Please visit a thoracic surgeon at the earliest and kindly get a biopsy done from the mass. That will confirm the diagnosis. He may also suggest a whole body PET CT
