Married-Missed periods and not pregnant
Hi, I usually have a 28 to 31 days cycle and periods have always been regular. For the first time I happened to miss my periods and I am 9 days late. I had taken a home pregnancy test and even visited doctor and got a Beta hcg done. Both have turned negative. Doc said nothing to worry now since it's a first time delay and it can be coz of hormones change and advised me to take 10 tablets - Deviry for 5 days to get my periods. My concern is are these tablets safe and won't have any bad side effects in the future? Is it normal to have delayed periods sometimes and is it okay to take medicines or should I wait. What are some home remedies to get periods. I am eating papaya and even drinking water of soaked fenugreek seeds. Kindy respond. Thanks much.

Instead of going for home remedies and all go ahead with your doctor advise and investigate the cause of delayed periods , specially if you are planning to conceive. Do baseline investigations to know the cause of irregularity
