Major hair fall
It's been more than one year , I am experiencing major hairfall . I run my fingers through hair and bunch of hair comes in my hand from root , whole length comes out from root like anything . It scares me completely , I have taken medicines earlier to stop this but it didn't changed how my hair was behaving. It's becoming very difficult for me to see daily how my hair is falling majorly. I have genetically thick hair maybe that's the reason why I am not bald till now , otherwise I would have lost all my hair till now. I also used expensive products , expensive hair oils , expensive medicines but nothing worked . I also have stressful life but that doesn't mean it should come out in chunks like that . Please suggest something .

This condition is called Telogen Effluvium. It's a reversible condition in which hair falls out after a stressful experience. The stress pushes large numbers of hair follicles into a resting phase. Within a few months, those hairs can fall out. Types of stress can include any hormonal issues like thyroid or any major illness like Covid. It's a reversible condition but needs to b treated to prevent further hair loss. Another possiblity could b Seborrheic dermatitis. It is a skin condition that causes an itchy, flaky rash to develop on the scalp, face, or other parts of the body. Many people call it dandruff. U can experience temporary hair loss with seborrheic dermatitis. Consult a Dermatologist
