Major Depression
I am suffering from major depression. I don't know when this exactly started but I have been going through bouts of insomnia, loss of interest, hopelessness, and at times I feel so lonely that it kills me. I don't really know what to do. All my friends seem to be so busy with their lives that I don't feel like sharing it with them. As for my parents, I am scared that they will freak out when they get to know of this. I don't want to trouble them but I really need help. Please help!

Hi, Please tell if any stressor do you have? Depression improve with antidepressants medicine and counseling. I suggest you medicine but my advice is first you visit any nearby Psychiatrist for better treatment. Start Sertraline 50 mg in morning Clonazepam 0.5mg in night After one week of treatment if you don't have much improvement Psychiatrist will increase the dose. Depression sometimes due to anemia or vitamin deficiency need medication for that. If you have any stressor, please inform that Psychiatrist, he will counsel (guide) you how to deal with your stressor.
