First don't panic, It needs evaluation as it can be a lymphoma( blood cancer) considering firm consistency, painless with recent increase in size. However there can be other possibilities also. Its best advisable that you undergo some screening tests and a excisional biopsy. Most hematological cancers especially lymphoma has good outcome if detected early and intervened accordingly.
Next Steps
cbc, esr, LDH, LFT, PT,aPTT, excisional biopsy, specialist consult with a general surgeon or a clinical hematologist
Health Tips
if there is excessive night sweat, fever, weight loss, similar swelling in other body parts immediately report and get it evaluate asap. Cancer was a deadly disease, but science has improved significantly, so don't worry, get a proper consult
