My mom ct scan reports shows multiple enlarged lymphnodes in para aorta she had suffered from cancer 18 years ago which was treated by surgery and chemotherapy ct scan also showed minimal ascites and bilateral preural effusion and she is also suffering from typhoid her wbc and plateletes are also increased what can be the cause is there any danger

Please share details of previous cancer problem. As per your description she is having bilateral pleural effusion, so Cytology of pleural fluid should be sent. It's also advisable to connect with your Oncologist
