How much time should Taken to reduce swelling of neck. After starting anti tuberculosis treatment? I am taking course from one month but my neck swelling is not decreased and it was increased

Hi. I understand your concern s. It may or may not decrease in size even after completion of treatment . If there is any increase in size u would suggest you to have a regular follow up with your treating pulmonologist for the same

Drug sensitive TB takes anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months to start reducing in size. On the contrary some patient experience increase in size and redness while on treatment. If it is not associated with signs like fever wt loss or cough- ignore the increase in soze for a few weeks
