Lupus Anticoagulant Test
Hi, My wife did Lupus anticoagulant test as advised by the doctor due to repeated miscarriage. The test results are as follows: dRVVT (LA1) : 50.0 (High. Reference range: 28-45) dRVVT(LA2): 47.9 (High. Reference range: 28-40) LA1/LA2 Ratio: 1.04 (Normal. Reference range: <1.3 normal, 1.3 to 1.4 - borderline, 1.5 to 1.8 - moderate, 1.8 to 2.5 -high) Impression: dRVVT confirm for lupus anticoagulant - negative Have attached the report. It seems LA1/LA2 ratio is normal but individual parameters LA1 and LA2 is high. Kindly advise on what this test results mean - Why LA1/LA2 ratio is normal but individual LA1 and LA2 parameters is high?
