Lump in belly button
I always had foul smelling belly button. Now I am 37weeks pregnant so my belly button is coming out and i can see a hard lump inside my belly button. Though, now my belly button doesn't smell and that lump doesnt hurt also. It is just that i want to know what is that lump? Also, I always felt there is a lump inside my belly button when I was not pregnant also. Now I can see it too. Please let me know what is it and is it normal to have it?

In your next visit to the also, you can show it to a dermatologist or a general surgeon. Usually, umbilical discharge may be due to a chronic infection, which is most likely what you have. An antibiotic ointment may clear it. But if a doctor can see and examine the lesion, a cyst or fistula or other structure can be ruled out.
