If it is only back pain you have with no pain going down the legs, then surgery is not going to benefit you. Back pain can come from many sources and it is important to know where the pain is from and what is making the pain worse. Your investigations will show where the problem is. Whatever it is, your pain will take time to get better. You will need to do a lot of physiotherapy and manage pain correctly to improve your symptoms.
