Long standing 2 year back pain
Have high pain near the hips and the mechanical pressure of the spine on the hips seems to be very high while sitting. Unable to sit or stand in one place for long. Attached latest MRI images of both spine and pelvis. Blood test is completely normal - ESR, CRP, HLA B27 all negative or under normal levels and complete blood profile was normal except for Vitamin D which was 17. Please suggest some solutions/remedies. I am going for regular physio exercises every day under a trainer and occasionally my doctor puts me on an NSAID. But still pain keeps flaring up and it's very difficult to pursue my software job.

With a 2-year history of back and hip-area pain, normal inflammatory markers, and MRI showing no significant nerve compression, this points toward chronic mechanical low back pain rather than an inflammatory condition. Pain worsening with sitting and standing is commonly related to muscle spasm, posture strain, and prolonged desk work, especially in software professionals. Low vitamin D (17) can significantly contribute to persistent muscle pain and delayed recovery and should be corrected. A structured plan focusing on ergonomics, graded activity, and flare-up control is usually more effective than continuous medication alone.
