Hi a medical student in US. Want to do lumbar puncture for my mom..60 years old. I suspect Normal pressure Hydrocephalus. We live in Hyderabad India.

There are many symptoms for NPH like imbalance while walking, memory loss and urinary complaints too. Lumbar puncture is done if clinical diagnosis of Normal pressure hydrocephalus is there , thorough which we can look fo improvement in symptoms of patient after which diagnosis and further management can be tailored
