Lubricating eye drops

Asked for Male, 46 Years

Hi doctor my wife was using Tears Naturale eye drops the main composition of which was Hypromellose(0.3%) solution for so many years . Now the eye drops contains new drug called Dextran70 in addition to the Hypromellose. Is it safe to continue or not for dry eyes. please advise

Tear substitutes have compositions similar to the ones in our tear film and Dextran is one of them. It's completely safe.

No issues Sir..Ma'am can safely use Eyedrops Tears Naturale ll or Eyedrops Tears Naturale Forte for both eyes 1 drop 4 times a day, gives soothing comfort to the eyes. She can use it for as long as she wants. Always mention a date over the bottle whenever you open it and use it only for a period of 1 month. For next month you can buy another Eyedrops.
