LRT infection acute
My daughter of 6 years old was diagnosed with LRT infection recently. Medicines have been prescribed ,but I am not sure about the seriousness of the disease. What would be the best course of action for her fast recovery , is LRT ( acute) infection something that we should be very much worried about ?

LRTI means pneumonia ..in that monitor the pattern of breathing and rate of breathing .. she needs to be given antibiotic according to her weight

Is it diagnosed clinically or radiologically?
Severity can only be assessed by clinically and radiological investigations. Most of lrti are completely treatable. Dont worry and follow according to your treating physician.
