Asked for Female, 24 Years

At 37 week,I have posterior placenta low lying at distance of 4.5 cm from internal OS grade 2. Baby position is cepahlic. Liquor AFI is 13.0 . But my doctor said to get ready for c- section in next week ? But I didn't understood the reason. Everything is normal then y c-section? Can I wait till get labor pain or do what my doc said?
