I have pain in my lower left rib for the last 10 months. Sometimes the pain is in the front side of the rib, and sometimes on the left side. The pain is bearable and not continuous. It mostly starts in the evening. I go for motion 2 to 3 times a day.
What might be the issue? And which specialist doctor should I consult?

Localised tenderness may be due to musculo skeletal issues.
Any other complaints like fever/weight loss?
I would advice a basic chest xray and consult any qualified physician/surgeon nearby.
