You could get an X ray Lumbar spine / MRI lumbar spine and consult an orthopedic doctor for further treatment. If it a muscular pain as suggested by you then rest, hot water fomentation, anti-inflammatory drugs, muscle relaxants and local analgesic ointments would help.
