Low vitamin D
Hi,
My mother's vitamin D level is 17 and SGOT 93 SGPT 130. Is sgpt sgot level related to low vitamin? She is feeling weekness in body and not able to get up. Could you please tell if these levels are not serious.

Both been independent parameters...
Did she had any history fever , cold - kind of viral illness can rise liver enzymes acutely... i
f since Long time the enzymes been raised, means need to rule out chronic viral hepatitis, NASH... kind of disease
Need more history .. kindly visit Gastroenterologist
And for vitamin D deficiency - need vitamin d replacement like vitamin D 60,000 IU orally... weekly... consult for prescription
Daily go out to the Sun around mid morning for 10 to 15 minutes daily for vitamin d source
